What its plans are built around

ActiveCampaign currently lists Starter, Plus, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Across those tiers, the published feature set grows from email campaigns and light automation to more advanced segmentation, reporting, connected workflows, and enterprise support. The pricing page asks users to select a contact tier and currency to see pricing.

ActiveCampaign’s help center lists automation action caps and monthly email allowances by plan: Starter and Plus send up to 10 times the contact limit; Professional up to 12 times; Enterprise up to 15 times. Starter automations have a five-action limit according to its current plan overview. Check the plan rules that apply to your account before building flows around a specific feature.

Who should compare it?

It is worth evaluating when customer journeys depend on branching automations, segmentation, CRM or ecommerce connections, and reporting across several steps. A small sender with a single monthly newsletter may not need every part of that feature set; compare the bill and maintenance effort against the workflow you will run.

What to verify

  • How many contacts will be included in the price tier?
  • How many sends does that tier allow, and what happens at the cap?
  • How many actions, triggers, and connected automations are available?
  • Which CRM, ecommerce, or reporting features require a higher plan or add-on?
  • Which support and onboarding options are included?

How it differs from MailerLite

MailerLite offers a Free plan with up to 250 active subscribers and 2,500 monthly emails, followed by paid tiers with defined automation and website limits. ActiveCampaign’s published plan ladder centers on increasing automation, segmentation, and reporting capabilities, with sending allowances tied to contact limits. Compare the price for your actual list size and how much of the advanced workflow you will use.

See the MailerLite vs ActiveCampaign comparison for a decision checklist. Neither product’s published feature list proves inbox placement or campaign results for a specific account.
